Hi, I’m Keith Gilmore
I write and speak on individuation, integration, sovereignty, and meaning in a disenchanted age.
It’s becoming increasingly apparent by the day that our world is suffering from a sickness. We’ve walked ourselves too far down a dark corridor of consumerism-addled, ego-affirming, algorithmically-enforced, and instantly-gratifying distorted mirrors.
We now find ourselves unwell, overwhelmed, and teetering on the edges of a dozen or more existential threats to human existence. We have to find our way home, and I am certain we know how to get there.
My project is to do my best to diagnose and articulate the tendency of our age towards cynicism, nihilism, egotism, reality-tunneling, finger-pointing, polarization, and disconnection, and to cultivate and invite the reemergence of trust, re-enchantment, humility, sense-making, responsibility-taking, solidarity, and integration. Also, to help individuals steward their own integrity and sovereignty in order to contribute to the well-being and sturdying of the entire human enterprise.
I undertake this project through:
1. Presenting public talks, both on stages throughout the nation and on my YouTube channel, as well as through conversations on various podcasts.
2. Writing and publishing essays on my Substack titled Culture & Psyche, and in other publications.
3. Working one-to-one in service to a small roster of private clients at Texture Coaching.
